Everyday Make Up

Hello Lovelies!

So today I wanted to do my every day makeup, as I simply couldn’t be bothered to go for a full face! So I thought i’d share it with you guys. I mentioned in my ‘Chit Chat‘ post that I finally found a pink lipstick/combo that I’m loving at the moment and this is it! This is such a simple makeup look & it is so easy! I have really been into cream contouring these last few days, but I didn’t want to go crazy on my contour, instead I just used my cream contour to lightly bronze instead. I hope you guys enjoy, and I’ll get straight into it!

Makeup Time!

So all of the products I used are in the photo above. I started out with Rimmel Lasting Finish Primer. I’ve been using this primer a lot lately instead of my ‘Stay Matte’ Primer as there would be no point in applying my illuminating moisturiser to then add a matte primer, plus I really love how it smoothes out my skin!

For my foundation, I really wanted a natural finish for an everyday look. So I went in with my L’Oreal True Match which is my absolute favourite foundation at the minute. & For the first time, instead of my Real Techniques Stipling Brush, I applied this with a Flat Topped Kabuki Brush. As much as I love Real Techniques Brushes, even £10 for a brush is pushing it a little bit for me, as I simply cannot afford it. I bought a collection of five face brushes off eBay which cost me about £8 and I absolutely love every single one of them! But believe me, when I have the money I am definitely going on a Real Techniques binge!

Today I decided against concealer, I just wanted to look more natural and my foundation done a pretty good job with my dark circles, so to save time I skipped that step! I did want some colour to my face though, and as I mentioned I have really been into cream contouring/bronzing. I got this concealer palette off eBay (SO CHEAP!) I think it cost me about £4? It was one of the first makeup products I bought when I started getting into makeup. At first I didn’t like it but I am slowly finding more uses for it, and this is it’s use at the moment. I do apologise for the mess that it is! As you can see, I can be quite heavy handed so I just wipe the excess off wherever! I use the top right shade for my bronzing and applied it on my cheeks and temples VERY lightly as I didn’t want that harsh contour just a subtle bronze. (which the camera didn’t really pick up on!)

Next up I used my George Creme Blush in Marsh mnellow which I am absolutely loving at the moment! It’s such a pretty bold pink colour and really brightens up your complexion but a little goes a hell of a long way!

Even though I was going for the glowing skin look, and I used my illuminating moisturiser, I still set my makeup in place with a powder. I have found that even though I am setting it, I still get that glow and my skin still gets that healthy look coming through, for this I used my Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent which is my favourite setting powder at the moment!

As always, my brows consist of Maybelline Brow Satin Pencil & Maybelline Brow Drama Mascara. I wasn’t going for a strong brow today, more natural and soft.

For my eyes I didn’t use any shadow today, just mascara. As always I used my George Curl ‘Em Mascara and I curled my lashes as well for that extra something!

Finally, that lip combo I was telling you about! I have been wearing this lip colour pretty much everyday! It is a combination of my MUA Lip Liner in Caramel Nougart & MUA Lipstick in Tulip. I honestly discarded this lipstick when I got it as it was such a bright barbie pink, that it just didn’t suit me! Instead I dabbed it very lightly over my nude lip liner, easy as pie.

So that is it for my everyday makeup look! I’d love to know what yours are so please leave me a comment! I actually had so much fun doing my makeup for this post as James started interrupting me so I ended up doing his makeup which was hillarious! He wouldn’t let me get a photo for you guys though, I’ll keep trying!

Until Next Time..

B xoxo
