Today’s Makeup Look

I have been absolutely obsessed with bold lips recently! Summer is fast approaching, and even though it may be a little early I am too excited for the reds, oranges and corals to come out! So this is my Bold Lips & Neutral Eye Makeup, simply because I cannot wait for summer! Besides spring is close enough, right?

 Skin Care

Today I didn’t want to go too overboard with my skin care. I used my Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water to cleanse and soothe my face. Then I moisturised using Nspa Ultra Hydrate Cream and Garnier Moisture + Nourish Daily Rich Moisturiser.

Like always, I start by priming my face. I am loving my Rimmel Lasting Finsh Primer. After applying that I leave my face for a couple of minutes just to let everything soak in. Next I applied my foundation, my favourite being the Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation. I have been using this non stop recently! I applied that using my Real Techniques Stipling Brush and dabbed it into my skin slowly building up until I get the coverage I desired. Time for a bit of concealer! It will be no surprise that I used my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I love my other concealers but for me this is the one I keep finding myself going back to! I then set that with Collection Pressed Powder in Ivory for a little bit of extra brightness, and then went on to set the rest of my face with Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder in Translucent. For contour I used my Makeup Revolution Mono Eye Shadow in Mocha Love the product I just raved about in my last post Keep Calm and Contour

Now, I am dedicating a whole little paragraph to this little baby. I really want to do a review on this, but I will be doing a post dedicated to my highlighters very soon, so I will explain more then but… holy cheese balls! This highlighter is all I have been using for these last few weeks. It is the Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter and oh my! When I first got it, it just looked like a lovely pearl coloured highlight, but when I used it I was amazed. It is so pigmented and boy can that thing reflect some light! It took me a while to get used to it, as you have to apply a very small amount at a time… because it is that god damn pigmented. Plus it cost me £3! I applied this to the tops of my cheekbones, the top of my brow bone, the cupids bow and the tip of my nose. I tried to get a photo to show you just how gorgeous this highlighter is, and this is the best I can do. The photo’s really don’t do it justice!

As always I start with my brows! Again this will be no surprise that I used my Maybelline Brow Satin to fill in my brows and then coated them with a stroke of Maybelline Brow Drama. For my eye shadow I used my Makeup Revolution Essential Matte 2 Palette. I used the colour labelled 1 through my crease, winging it out a little bit. Then I used the colour labelled 2 to cover my lid. Shade 3 was used to darken the outer corner and shade 4 was used as a base to highlight the brow bone and inner corners.  I then went in with my second pallete, the Collection Eyes Uncovered Nude Palette to do some more soft highlighting. I used the colours White Chocolate and Buttercream combined to highlight my inner corner, brow bone and the centre of the lid. I then as always used my George Curl ‘Em Mascara but not before curling my lashes of course!

Now this is something else! The perfect orange coral matte lip colour for summer! Of course it is Makeup Acadamy and of course it is one of the Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquers. This is in the colour Atomic, and I am obsessed! It is a very neon colour and I never thought I would of loved it as much as I do! I won’t go on too much however, I will let the lips do the talking!

So that is my finished look, I hope you enjoyed. As always, all of these products are drugstore!

Until Next Time,

B xoxo
