May Favourites

I have always loved favourites posts! So I’m jumping on the bandwagon and starting mine as from this month. Today is also special for me as it is James and my four year anniversary! So while I have got a spare fifteen minutes I thought I would crack on.. Even if it is a few days early! I will warn you I have a lot of favourites for this month, I have tried to leave out the obvious things that I ramble on about all the time, just to cut down the list and just show you the things that I have been loving for this last month.

Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation

I have been using this foundation that much this month, that I almost need to replace it. It does everything I want a foundation to do. The coverage is exactly what I like, and I love how it looks on my skin.. It’s a great all rounder! Plus this stuff doesn’t budge.. My favourite foundation yet.

Max Factor Master Touch Under Eye Concealer

This is the concealer that I have been using constantly for my blemishes. It has great coverage, and even though it states under eye concealer, I like a bit of a highlight and this wasn’t light enough. But it blends into my foundation like a dream.. I could of put my ‘Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer’ on this post, but lets face it I go on about that stuff enough. It was about time I gave you another one of my favourites, so here it is..

Max Factor Creme Puff Blush

Are you sensing a pattern here? Unfortunately I only own one of these beautiful little creations. By far the best formula I have tried for a blush, and the prettiest colour. I own the colour 10 Nude Mauve. It has been my number one blush for the past month, and it probably will be for the next month.. it’s just too pretty!

Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

As you might know this is my go to face powder. I have even hit pan on it! sigh….

W7 In The Buff: Lightly Toasted Natural Nudes Eye Colour Palette

IMG_0564

Well that was a mouthful! My most used eyeshadow palette for the last couple of months, and a great dupe for the Urban Decay Naked Palette! The colours in the palette are gorgeous, so pigmented and great for everyday looks and night time looks! What more do you need?

Superdrug Makeup Sponges

I broke my beauty blender! In all fairness it was a while ago and I have had time to grieve over this very unexpected loss. But as I still haven’t replaced it, when I was in Superdrug a couple of months ago I thought I would pick up some sponges as a temporary alternative to my beloved beauty blender. Honestly these sponges are great for blending under eye concealer, and they are all I have been using! Obviously I will still be ordering myself a new beauty blender, but for now these little babies have saved me and I love them in return.

Wilko Coconut Body Butter

IMG_0560

Not just a monthly favourite, an all time favourite. I love the coconut and the cocoa body butter equally, but at the moment I am on the coconut one. I love it as it smells of genuine coconut, instead of that artificial smell you usually get in shampoos etc. This stuff is so thick and creamy and it glides on like… butter! I love it, and I will continue to use this for god knows how long. Plus it lasts forever..

Katy Perry Purr Perfume

I got this as a gift for christmas, and didn’t use it until about a month ago as I was loving my other perfumes. I don’t know why I didn’t try it sooner, as it has a gorgeous scent (which I am no good at explaining), kind of musky and not too sweet. Does that make sense? Probably not! But it’s lovely and I have been loving it for this past month.

Tresemme Split Remedy Leave In Treatment

I can use this for the rest of my life, happily and willingly. Not only does it smell great and feel great in my hair. It lasts so long and you can truely see the results. As I have mentioned before, I neglect my hair.. but this is one thing that I will use! I probably don’t use it as often as I should, but at least its not sat in my cupboard doing nothing! Besides,  this thing makes your hair so smooth and it doesn’t make it greasy.. even better. This last month I have rediscovered it, and I haven’t put it down. Say no more…

Friends!!!

This is probably a weird favourite, but it is a favourite… and I have been watching it all month. And the month before that… Friends is my favourite tv show of all time and since they put it on Netflix I have been in Friends heaven! If you ever want to find me, I will be in my room watching friends..

Callum Scott Cover

This may be another weird one but like i said before… This has been the song I have been non-stop listening to on youtube. It is a slow song, but it is so bloody good! Here it is if you want to have a little listen :)

It’s over! I promise you there are no more favourites for this month! and breathe…

I hope you enjoyed, don’t hesitate to let me know your favourites of the month!
Until next time,
B xoxo

  1. Haha I do sense the pattern here and I have the same one! I bought the same Max Factor concealer and the blush twice and still love them (especially the blush). Oh, and I love the song too. :)
