Top Tip Of The Week

I’m back! Like every Sunday, I will be sharing yet another top tip for you guys. This tip I have already briefly talked about & that is how to create your own tinted moisturiser!

I love using tinted moisturisers for days when I don’t really feel like wearing makeup, yet I want to even out my skin tone. This tip can be easily done using products that you already own, so there is no need to splash the cash on a ready made one when you can do it all in the comfort of your dressing table!

It Takes Two To Tango!

Yes, you heard right. It only takes two products. Really? YES! What you will need is a concealer of your choice, and a moisturiser of your choice. Bob’s your uncle! I like to mix it up and use different products depending on what look I want to achieve.

So here are some of my favourite products to use. If I want to be super glowy and healthy, then I always reach for my Garnier Moisture Match Illuminating Light Lotion. This bad boy reflects light like no other, leaving you a big bundle of glowy loveliness! If I don’t want to glow like J Lo, then I opt for a regular moisturiser. My favourite to use at the moment is the Skin Therapy Light Hydrating Moisturiser. It has the perfect consistency, and it is an all round lovely moisturiser.

For concealer! You can mix it up to your preference. For a more natural, light coverage I like to use either my Max Factor Under Eye Concealer or my Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Bet you didn’t see that one coming did you? These are my two favourites but I just use any ole’ concealer, and it will do the job just fine! If I want a more medium coverage then I opt for my Mac Pro Longwear Concealer as it has amazing coverage, and when you mix it with your moisturiser it evens out your skin tone perfectly.

Give It A Swirl!

All I do is add some of the moisturiser on to the back of my hand, and then some concealer, blend it in with my fingers and apply it all over my face using my Real Techniques Stippling Brush. It really is so simple. The results can be what you make them, more medium coverage or light. Glowy or natural. The world is your oyster!

So there’s no need for you to go out and spend unnecessary money on something that can easily be made at home!
Until next time,
B xo
