Limnit Lipsticks

So today is a good day! If you follow me on Instagram you would see that I entered a giveaway by Limnit Lipsticks, for a chance to win some of their colourful lip products! Guess who won.. yaaaaay! Today I received my parcel and I am super chuffed with what I got!

So I won a total of six mini jars and one full sized lipstick. Apologies for the bad lighting!  When I received these through the post, I was so happy with the colours I chose! These semi-matte lipsticks come in a wide range of colours, some are a little more out there and some are more basic but nonetheless gorgeous. I opted for the more basic shades so I could really tell if I liked them, and so I could wear them on a day to day basic. These are the colours I chose..

This is my kind of nude! It is slightly darker than my current favourite lipstick, Velvet Teddy. All of these lipsticks glided on so easily and the colours are really pigmented. I chose this colour for my full sized lipstick as I knew I couldn’t go wrong with a nude! I am in loooove with this colour!

Racin’ Carnation

This colour is a beautiful pink/red. Perfect for summer. I got this and the rest of my lipsticks in mini jars and I was shocked at how much you get in them. A little goes a long way as they are so pigmented and once I applied them on my lips you could barely feel them there.

Petal To The Metal

This mini jar is such a pretty true pink. I usually don’t go for pink lipsticks as you know they don’t really suit me, or I don’t think they do. This one however is really pretty and I will definitely be reaching for this one more than my other pinks!

Swept Away

This colour is so bloody pretty. It is like Petal to the Metal but more purple toned. There’s something about this colour that makes me keep peering over at it. I am loving this colour!

Castle In The Sky

This colour is a lovely cool toned violet purple. Beautiful for a slightly out there spring colour as it is more of a pastel shade. When I applied it I was shocked at how much I liked it as I usually don’t go for purples unless they are a deep toned purple red, but I really do like this one!

Olly Olly Oxen Free

The name of this one baffled me a little bit. When I was choosing my shades I wasn’t sure if this was the name or part of the description.. but it is the name! However, this is probably one of my favourites out the bunch as well. It is a deep berry purple colour, perfect for the autumn months and it is just so pretty.

I keep looking at this lipstick and thinking how perfect this would have been for my Caitlyn Jenner inspired makeup post. It is a lovely orange red corally colour. Perfect for summer! I am really into corals right now so expect to see a lot of this colour appearing in future posts! So bloody gorgeous!

So that is it for the colours I chose. I haven’t yet worn them all day to let you know what the lasting power is like, as I have literally had them an hour maybe?!  I am always a little bit dubious as I really wanted to like these, after all they were given to me for free and this never happens to me! I am so happy that I genuinely like them. The fact that they are semi-matte is right up my street, the colours are spot on. They glide on so easily and feel so lightweight on my lips. I am over the moon and I can’t thank Limnit Lipsticks enough for this chance to try out their products and for choosing me as their winner!

So you know the drill, let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you think! You know I always love to hear your thoughts!
Until next time,
B xoxo
