Top 10 Under £10

Being the beauty addict that I am, I always lust after the luxury of high end products. They must cost so much because they are amazing right?! I will admit, since owning my MAC Lippies, I reach for them more often than not. But as I am being pulled further into this beauty world, sometimes it’s easy to forget that you can get the quality for a fraction of the price.

This is why I am sharing with you my top ten beauty items, holy grails if you will, that you can get for under £10! I love high street/drugstore makeup just as much as the next girl. I think you can get some really good bargains! So may I present to you.. My Top 10 Under £10!

No. 1 | Max Factor Lasting Performance Foundation

This product comes in at £9.99. Although this foundation is at the higher end of the price range, there is good reason for it! This foundation is amazing for a medium to full coverage. It gives you a flawless finish and is so easy to blend into the skin. I find that I can also sheer this foundation out, just by applying less and blending it out. It has a matte finish so it is perfect for oily skin, and even though I am dry I prefer to be more matte. If you would prefer a more dewy finish, mixing it with some of the L’oreal Lumi Magique Primer (£9.99) with help give you a bit of dewiness. There are some great little extra’s that come with this foundation also, that make it an all round great product. For one, it lasts up to 8 hours when left by itself, if you set it with a powder it will last so much longer. I have worn this foundation all day long maybe 8am – 11am and my foundation is still flawless by the time I come to take it off. Not only is it long wearing, it has been created so that it is touch proof and it won’t rub off onto your clothes. That is always a positive in my eyes! They have made sure that this product suits all different skin types.. it is suitable for sensitive skin thank goodness, and it also has a technology so it will not clog pores. If you ask me, this foundation is just a great all rounder. The only negative side is that it only comes in 6 shades.. you can always mix!

No. 2 | Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

IMG_5806 IMG_5797

I can almost hear your shocked gasps! Now why on earth would I mention this product? As many of you will be bored of hearing.. I am in love with this concealer. Everything about it is perfection, even the name! I often find myself reaching for this more than my MAC Pro Longwear Concealer, and as much as I love it, I just find myself reaching for this product more often than not. My Lasting Perfection and I have a bond, one that cannot be broken.. even the Nyx HD Concealer tried, but failed.. nice try though, good efforts! This is the only concealer that gives me the slightest highlight, the coverage is on point and it doesn’t crease! What more could you want? Not to mention it only comes in at a meer £4.19.. It’s fine.. you can stop reading now to run out and buy one, you won’t regret it!

No. 3 | Makeup Revolution Vivid Blush Lacquers

IMG_5802 IMG_5798

Having only owned this for three days, and using it every single day since.. It is fair to say that when you know, you know. It’s love.. These cream blushes are like heaven for a natural pop of colour and extra dewiness. The blend into the skin seamlessly and they are so pigmented, you need the slightest drop and you are away! Not to mention they will last me a lifetime. Dare I say.. these are the best creme blush formulas I have ever tried. Who cares if I haven’t owned them for long? For £1.99 Now on sale for £1! These blushes are amazing and I would happily repurchase them over and over again.

No. 4 | Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder

This powder is one of my holy grail products. For £3.99 you get a good amount of product that is perfect for setting your foundation and keeping you matte all day long. It does not look cakey on the skin, and it doesn’t cling to my dry patches! This is a highly talked about powder and again, it is for a bloody good reason! I am currently on my 3rd pan of this baby.. and I don’t think I will ever look back.

No. 5 | L’Oreal Colour Riche Lipsticks

These lipsticks are perfection. What makes them more perfect? The small price tag of £6.99. These lipsticks come in a variety of different finishes which make them perfect for everyone as they cater for all your needs. The matte lipsticks are amazing, and they last pretty much as long as my MAC matte lipsticks, the colours are gorgeous, and the packaging is so luxurious anyone would think they are high end. These lipsticks are my all time favourites from the high street and I will continue to repurchase these over and over again.

No. 6 | George Curl ‘Em Mascara

We are all on the hunt for a voluminous and lengthening mascara that doesn’t clump and makes your lashes look amazing. I, my friends, have found exactly that. I absolutely adore this mascara, as I feel like it makes my lashes look like the false whispie lashes. So fluttery and beautiful! For £4 I don’t think you can get much better if you want natural yet gorgeous lashes. The applicator is the perfect size and shape to get all of your lashes and extend them into long single strands of black heaven. I always find myself going back to this mascara, no matter what others I try. This is another one of those holy grail items!

No. 7 | Maybelline Master Sculpt

Contouring is one of those trends that can be taken to the extreme! We often forget that contouring doesn’t need to be harsh and in your face, soft and gentle is just as beautiful. This product is my must have for a gorgeous natural contour. Not to mention that highlight! They need to sell the highlight shade individually as it is by far, the most stunning and natural highlight I have ever come across! It is what I wear every single day and there are no words to describe how perfect it is! This kit comes in at £6.99.. we don’t need your ABH Contour Kits! For a fraction of the price we can get an amazing contour and get our highlights on fleek. Round of applause for Maybelline!

No. 8 | Maybelline Brow Satin Duo

IMG_5804 IMG_5794

More shocked gasps I hear? Well I understand why.. I have never mentioned this product before! I have five little words for you guys.. Holy. Grail. Ride. Or. Die. YAAAAAS! This pencil is the only thing I use on my brows, and will be the only thing I continue to use on my brows. You can work it down for a more natural brow, or work it up for ‘Pow In Your Face’ brows. With not only the pencil, but the powder too.. you really don’t need anything else. For the meer price of £5.99 why would you want anything else? I certainly don’t. My brow satin and I have an understanding, a bond and most importantly we share my brows. There is no one I mean nothing, that I would rather share those with!

No. 9 | w7 Eye Shadow Palettes

IMG_5800 IMG_5799

Dupe Alert! I have raved about these palettes for a long time now.. and there is good reason for it. A great dupe of the Urban Decay Naked Palettes & for only £4.99 each. These ones are definitely worth it! I do believe there are five palettes in total, I own four of them & now I am a proud owner of the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette, I can honestly say that these are an amazing dupe! The shadows are super pigmented and some are extremely glittery and glamorous. If you cannot afford the Naked Palettes, I would highly recommend these ones. They. Are. Amazing.

No. 10 | Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water

Last but most certainly not least.. With all of these amazing products, we need a gentle yet effective way of removing it all! I have a full review of this product found here. All I can say about this Micellar water, is that it is the most gentle and easy way I have found of removing my makeup. It is perfect for all skin types, even sensitive skin and it is super easy on the eyes literally! This product can be picked up for the small amount of £3.29 and it lasts a long time. Another one of my holy grail products, and a great way to round up my Top 10 Under £10!

  1. Great post!!😍 does W7 have a palette like the naked 3? Is it similar? I have the naked 1, 2 and the basics, and I really want the 3, but if these are a good show I’ll get this instead!x (Where can you buy them?)

    1. YES! The W7 In The Nude, Natural Nudes Eye Shadow Palette is a great dupe! I live in the UK & I got mine from B&M haha! But they have a website if you are interested, although I think they are a little bit more expensive on the website! I love them.. they are great inexpensive little palettes and the shadows are really nice :) xox

      2. It’s a lot heavier than I thought! haha.. but thats only because I was comparing it to my w7 ones which are really light. It’s all I have been wearing hehe! xoxo

  4. I love posts like this- who doesn’t love a bargain? I use the w7 palette and it’s amazing, dupes are my saving grace, I’m always apprehensive to buy designer products after finding a cheaper alternative! X

  5. I haven’t tried a L’Oreal lipstick in ages! Will do so the next time they’re on a good sale. :) I can’t believe they’ve barely changed their packaging in so long, though.
