Dolled Up Date Night Makeup

Ola m’beauties!

Today I wanted to share with you my go-to date night makeup. It’s very simple yet glamorous and can you believe it.. we have lashes people! This is a full face of makeup, but I wanted to keep the eyes very simple and let the lashes steal the show. I also wanted to share with you this lip colour that I am obsessed with!

For foundation I wanted to keep it very light as I was going in with lots of cream products. I used my Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation and blended this all over my face using a damp beauty blender. A damp beauty blender is great for picking up excess product.. just what I needed for this look!

Next I went in with an oldie but a goodie.. the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. I applied this under my eyes, my forehead and chin to balance everything out. I also went over these areas with my Makeup Revolution Fix & Focus Liquid Concealer. Honestly, this is not a good concealer, but the shade is perfect for a highlight.. especially on us pale skinned girls! I blended all of this out with a damp beauty blender again as the Collection concealer can get quite cakey rather quick!

For bronzer I used my Max Factor Pan Stik. I applied this to my forehead, and used it to contour a little bit. I wanted to go super bronzed for this look as it is summer and I wanted that colour for a healthy glow.

I recently purchased this new creme blush from Asda, and it is sooo pretty! It is the George Creme Blush – Pomegranate. It is a dark pink shade that has a slight shimmer to it.. Soooo pretty!

For a more defined contour I then went in with my Maybelline Master Sculpt. I applied this to my cheekbones and then I applied the highlighter, well.. everywhere! I am obsessed with highlighters at the moment so I basically bathed my face in it! I watch too much Jaclyn Hill okay? I can’t help it!

I kept the eyes very simple as I mentioned before. I only applied some of my Makeup Revolution Mono Eyeshadow – Mocha Love through the crease, and then applied a matte white eyeshadow to my inner corner and my brow bone.

For my lashes I used my Benefit They’re Real Mascara and followed up with my super gorgeous falsies! The lashes I am wearing are from Wilko. I am not sure of the name but they are really natural and flirty. Perfect for date night!

I then applied my Rimmel Scandal Eyes Kohl Eyeliner – Nude to my waterline and applied more of Mocha Love on my lower lash line. I am addicted to a light colour on the waterline and then that stark contrast of a dark smokey lower lash line. I think it really defines the eyes and takes any eye look to the next level!

For my lips, I am using a lip liner. I am obsessed with the Rimmel Exaggerate Lip Liners. I recently picked up the shade ‘East End Snob’ which is b. e. a. utiful! For a little touch of sheen to the lips, I applied my L’Oreal Colour Riche Natural Lipstick – Nude 235 to the center of my lips!

& This is the final look.. It is so appropriate for date nights as it is classy and simple but still got that glam affect! Possibly one of my favourite makeup looks ever, and I completed this in under half an hour! Go me..
