My Holiday Holy Grails

Deck your makeup collection out with boughs of holly grails, the holidays are upon us! Even though it is still November, you can never be too prepared. I have actually been dreading the holiday period this year, as I am so unprepared and haven’t even thought about presents. I’ve got my priorities straight however (obviously) as I am thinking about all the golden eye shadows and classic red lips already. Typical beauty blogger hey! I have put together a collection of all my holiday must haves from Christmas right through to New Year. Wanna have a snoop through my most needed holiday items? Go on then, I won’t mind!

Nuxe Paris Masque Creme Fraiche

With those cold wintery nights, a good moisturiser is a must. This face mask is perfect for exactly that. It gives 24 hour hydration which is perfect for when the change in weather dries your skin out. You can use it as a face cream and an eye cream and the best part is that even though it is a face mask, you don’t have to wash it off. You can apply a generous amount, rub it in and after ten minutes you can massage in any excess product. This product is pure perfection for the holidays.

Maybelline Dream Flawless Nude Foundation

I have fallen in love with foundations again. I have also noticed that my skin has started producing oil! This makes me happy beyond belief. I have had dry skin for so long, so the fact that my skin is now producing oil around my forehead and nose is incredible to me. This foundation is perfection. With the combination of the flawless coverage, lightweight formula and powdery finish it is perfect for quick yet flawless skin without the that cakey effect and without making you look too oily throughout the day. This foundation is perfect for the holidays as it is quick to apply yet flawless and long wearing, perfect for any holiday parties!

Makeup Revolution Flawless Palette

I have talked about my love for this fall appropriate palette and it is no secret that I want to marry this little fella. With the mix of golds, reds and greens to purples, silvers and taupes, this palette is perfect for any holiday look from your Christmas day right through to your New Years countdown.

Rimmel Gel Eyeliner & Kohl Me Beautiful Liner

'3.jpg

It’s Christmas, so I couldn’t just share one great eyeliner with you! First up we have a classic gel liner, fulfilling all your wing needs. This liner will make any eye look fly with it’s easy application and plain gorgeousness. The next liner is from Makeup Gallery (yes, poundland!). The Kohl Me Beautiful Black Liner is a must have for all your smokey needs. It has a super black pigment and amazing blendable abilities. What more do you need?

Eylure Exaggerate No* 143 Lashes

'5.jpg

Can we just take a moment to pray to the lash gods? Amen! These lashes are everything, holidays or not. Well.. especially for the holidays. These double layered lashes with that stunning ‘whispie’ affect are all you need to make any makeup look party appropriate. For someone who doesn’t wear lashes regularly, these are so comfortable whilst being dramatic and fluffy. They have the perfect balance of length and volume and are the perfect lashes, period.

Benefit They’re Real Tinted Lash Primer

Not into wearing lashes? This guy will be your best friend. I got a free sample of this product in this months ‘Elle’. Can I get a yaaaaas?! I am in love. As I mentioned in my Products I Regret Buying, I was not a fan of the original mascara. This primer however, is perfection. I think perfection could be my word of the day? It gives beautifully lengthened lashes, whilst keeping them super fluttery and separated. When I first heard of this product I thought ‘why don’t you just layer up your mascara?’ Now I realise! This gives your lashes drama, which is perfect for anyone who isn’t a fan of lashes. I will be buying the full size. I WILL. Even my mum complimented my lashes… that is saying something!

Makeup Revolution Vivid Baked Highlighter

Ah, golden lights. You know how to please a girl! This highlighter screams Christmas to me, as it is so intense and golden. To put a long story short, if you want to look like Christmas has just thrown up on your face. Go to superdrug right now and pick this baby up for a few pounds. Perfection!

Barry M Matte Nail Paint in Crush

'4.jpg

I love a good red nail varnish for the holiday season. I am also loving matte nails right now. This deep red colour from Barry M is gorgeous and it is what I plan on wearing from the 25th right through to the 1st. It has great lasting powder and doesn’t chip easily. Perfect for both days and nights and yet another Holiday holy grail!

Collection Red Carpet Matte Lipstick

'2.jpg

A classic red lip is a must for Christmas, if you ask me. This bright yet flattering red from Collection will cure all your holiday needs with it’s amazing pigmentation and lasting powder. It’s creamy formula will keep you comfortable and the colour is again perfection!

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick 107

Finally, we have the classic 107 by Rimmel. This colour is perfect if you want to transform that classic red lip into a more evening appropriate red lip. This deep almost berry shade has an amazing formula that is long wearing and super pigmented. Another amazing shade for the holiday season. Are you ready for this? PERFECTION.
