Face Faves | Summer 2016

I have been having so much fun recently playing with different products and adjusting my foundation routine to the season changes. I, of course, am all about that glow recently and I have especially been loving it as I feel like my skin is super dry at the moment. I wanted to share some of my current favourite face products that I have been using non stop recently and ones that I feel are going to be a staple for me this summer!

Nars Sheer Glow Foundation

So the first product I have for you is a newer foundation that I have been loving. This foundation has been around forever but I only recently just started to use it and I am in love. Now that it is summer this isn’t usually the type of foundation I would gravitate towards as the coverage is a little heavier and it isn’t all that glowy. However, this stuff seems to stick to my face like glue, it looks so good even when I am sweating beyond belief and it is so comfortable to wear. I do love to mix this foundation with a liquid highlighter to make it a little lighter, but I just love the way this foundation looks.

Maybelline Instant Eye Eraser Concealer

So again, a product that has been around forever. I love this concealer but unfortunately it is far too dark for me. I love the yellow undertone as it really cancels out any darkness but as I am so fair I found it hard to use. Recently however I have been using this under my foundation and concealer to cancel out any darkness. It looks flawless, conceals my darkness (which is never ending it seems!) and doesn’t look cakey when I apply product over top of it. It just gives my under eyes a more fresh appearance which I am all for in the summer months.

Urban Decay Naked Weightless Complete Coverage Concealer

So it is no secret that I love this concealer, and I have raved about it one too many times but I just had to add it into my face faves! It is the concealer I use every single day of my life and I am truly obsessed.

Collection Speedy Highlight Stick

This highlight stick has been a staple for me recently. I have been loving this as a base for my highlight, it makes it super intense but not glittery or chunky in any way. I also wear this alone on more natural days and it looks so good. Such a bargain buy and a great find.

Tanya Burr Rosy Flush Cheek Palette

Now, time for a good face palette. I recently done a mini review on the Tanya Burr line and I am obsessed with this palette. The three colours are so perfectly matched and even though it looks like there are big chunks of gold glitter in all of the shades it applies so smooth and simply gives a golden glow. This bronzer has been my current favourite recently and I have really been enjoying it! Not to mention that highlight is a pale persons dream!

W7 The Cheeky Trio Palette

This is another palette that I have raved and raved about before. These powders are so unique to me, they have absolutely no shimmer or glitter to them but they are simply a satin finish which give the skin the most natural, gorgeous glow. I adore this palette more than I ever thought I would. My favourite way to use this is to use the highlight to knock off my bake, it doesn’t look heavy or cakey but just leaves behind a natural glow so I don’t look too matte.

Becca x Jaclyn Hill Champagne Pop

I’m sorry.. I’m bringing it up again. Will this product ever get old? Never! It is just the ultimate summer highlight.

New Look Pure Colour Baked Highlight

Another highlight I cannot stop talking about! Really? You know how much I love this highlight, it is every pale persons dream and it isn’t filled with chunky glitter or shimmer, just looks like a beautiful sheen. I love this especially this time of year. I have to say that I think this is my all time favourite affordable highlight going. I can’t even begin to explain how beautiful it is!

So.. that brings me to the end of my face faves! I hope you enjoyed and until next time…
