My Summer Clementine Makeup

It’s time for another makeup look! Honestly, with the amount of hours I have been doing at work these last few weeks, I am surprised I even found the time to put makeup on! I have my little routine for when I just need a little something and I have a spare 10 minutes, but I haven’t had time to actually sit down and play around. This makeup look has been my go-to for the last couple of weeks when I want something more summer appropriate. It includes a bit of shimmer on the eyes and a really pretty muted orange lip. There are also a few new products I have been trying out ready for some upcoming reviews so if you want to find out more then keep scrolling…

So I have decided that I need to stop rambling so much in these blog posts as they can tend to be so much longer than I intended! There are definitely a few new and old products that have made their way into my routine again. For the base, I have still been using and loving my Maybelline Matte + Poreless and I even have my mum onto it too! I have also been using my Mac Pro Longwear again too as once again I have run out of my naked concealer, so I have been finally using other ones in my collection! About time Billie… I have been really enjoying the MUA Loose Setting Powder too, but I won’t talk too much about this one as I have a review coming very soon!

To warm up my skin, I haven’t been contouring lately and more just bronzing. This Cruise Collection Creme Bronzer is so beautiful I can’t even explain!! I have had it for years as my sister bought it as a gift for me so I don’t even know if you can still get them, but it is honestly amazing and looks so good on my fair skin!

I have also been loving my Collection Cheeky Blush again. This was one of the first blushes I ever used and I am really enjoying the peachy shade as it isn’t too orange toned for me, but still has that peach tone to it.

For my highlight I have been all about my Champagne Truffle from my Two Faced Chocolate Bar Palette. I would be in my element if they bought this out in it’s own separate pan. It is the perfect balance of vanilla, pink and gold. Beautiful!

For the eyes there are some golden oldies being brought back. I have rediscovered and fallen in love all over again with my Maybelline Brow Satin. I use this to start my eyes off as I never feel my eye shadow looks as good if I don’t already have my brows in place. For my shadows I have been using that same Chocolate Bar Palette. I just use a mixture of the neutral shades including Marzipan, Semi-sweet, Salted Caramel and Creme Brulee. I wanted something very wearable but a little warm with some gold and pink tones to blend with the highlight. All of these shades were buffed over my lid as I didn’t want anything too metallic or in your face, just something light and casual.

For my mascara, again I have rediscovered an oldie! The Seventeen HD Mascara has been all I am reaching for these last couple of weeks and I completely love how this makes my lashes look!

For my lips I wanted a light muted orange tone. I first went in with Rimmel Lipstick 32. This shade is a coral/orange tone but is incredibly bright. It gave me the perfect orange tone but I wanted to neutralize it and mute it down just a little bit so it wasn’t so vibrant. I used the PS Love Lipstick in this gorgeous cool nude shade just to add a little contrast and finish the lip off perfectly!

Finally I have a new favourite setting spray. I will talk more about this in upcoming posts, but I will just leave this here. I have been using this before and after makeup and it is up there with my Mac Fix +! I love it!

I hope you enjoyed this makeup look. I am so ready for more colourful, summer colours and I can’t wait to start experimenting more! Until next time,
