My Classic Fall Makeup

I am so over the warm weather. I have always said that I would always prefer to be too cold to too hot, and this summer for me has been too hot! I am ready for baggy jumpers, hot chocolate and cosy nights snuggled on the sofa bombarded with blankets! So to kick off the cooler mornings and my excitement for Autumn, I thought I would create this vampy fall makeup look, which has almost become a classic look over the last couple of years when it comes to the Autumn. I wanted to take it a step further however and include an even darker lip and use some newer products.

For my base, I used one of my current go-to foundations. It is the Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation, and even though it is a little warm for my skin at the moment, it stops me from looking like a complete ghost and isn’t too dark for me just yet so I am soaking it up whilst I can!

I then applied my Essence Camouflage Concealer in the shade 10 under my eyes, and through the centre of my face to bring some light back into my face. I finished off by setting everything with my Maybelline Stay Matte Pressed Powder. I go through phases with this powder and even though I know I love it, I try new powders but always end up back at this one again. It is just beautiful.

To contour I used my Makeup Geek Contour Powder in the Cool Fair shade. I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with this thing as it is so pigmented. But if I use a very tiny amount and really spend my time blending it out then it works out beautifully. I then used the shade Beam from my Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Palette*lets out a little squeal* (I finally got my hands on it and you will be bored of me by time I’ve finished talking about it.. this is only the beginning!)

I already have my eyes primed with concealer as that is just my preferred choice at the moment and I set that with my face powder to make sure that everything blends seamlessly. Now for the palette! I won’t talk to much about it in this post, as I am going to have a full in-depth review going up once I have really played with it and tried every single shade. Until then, just know that so far it’s a bloody winner! Anyways, all I done for the eyeshadow was a basic smokey eye. It looked a lot more hard work than it actually was. I used a fluffy brush and applied Silk Creme and M.F.E.O into my crease as my transition shades. I then deepened the crease and outer corner with Pooter and then added Buns into my outer corner for some depth. My lid colour was SBN and Sissy mixed as these two shades really pulled me in and I wanted to keep the lid in the neutral family to compliment the lip shade.

For the brows I used my new favourite brow pencil of all time, the Maybelline Master Precise Brow Pencil and filled them in as best I could considering the state they are in!

Another favourite of mine is the Essence Volume Stylist Mascara which I applied to top and bottom lashes.

Finally, for the lips I used the ColourPop Lax Liquid Lipstick. I feel like I went through a huge phase last Autumn when it came to ColourPop and their deep vampy lips. I really need to have another ColourPop spree as I love everything that I have tried so far and really need to give more of their items a go!

I hope you enjoyed my interpretation of a classic Autumnal makeup look! It’s classic to me anyways, this is always the look that I will go for in the Autumn!

Until next time…
