This year I have really been enjoying playing with different tones and combos when it comes to fall inspired makeup. I am without a doubt a berry lip and matte brown eye kind of girl, but this year I have been playing with some colour and some different combos. I want to get round to sharing a few of them with you so I thought I would start with a simple bronzey eye and my take on an autumnal nude lip. This look is much more wearable than some of the others I have been doing and is all using high street makeup!
I will only be focusing on the eyes and lips for this look, but if you are interested in how I achieved my base then you can find all you need to know in My Autumn Face Routine.
My vision for the eyes was something smokey and bronze but really easy to do. For this look I used my Makeup Revolution x Soph eye shadow palette and started by using the shade pancakes all over my lid to set down my base. I then took penguin into the inner corner and brow bone. I then took a mix of iced coffee and cuppa tea and fluffed that through my crease and into my outer corner. I then took that iced coffee alone and used it to soften the edges. I then dipped into a little bit of rosewood to deepen the outer corners and funnily enough, without realising the name… I used the shade smokey bronze all over my lid and blended out the edges ever so lightly! That name could not be more perfect for that shade! I love how easy it was to do and by applying that smokey bronze shade lightly and blending it out, it gives it a very lived in yet wearable look. I then applied my LOC Shadow Stick to my waterline to add some brightness, it is day time after all Billie… and then applied my L’Oreal Lash Paradise Mascara.
Finally, I used my Barry M Matte Me Up Lip Paint in the shade on the scene. I have been obsessed with this lip colour for this time of year as it is technically a ‘nude’ but it has a lot of peach tones to it.
I hope you enjoyed this makeup look and until next time…
