My Favourite Vampy Lip Look

It’s not often that I get hooked on one makeup look, every time I do my makeup I love trying different things and using different colour combos. This makeup look however, is one of my all time favourites and is one that I can’t seem to stop wearing. What is great about this look also is that it is so appropriate for this time of year, but you can also switch up the lip colour to what ever you fancy as the eyes and face are very neutral and easy to achieve.

It is no secret that I am absolutely obsessed with the Rimmel Lasting Finish Breathable Foundation and it has become one of my staple foundations. I love applying this foundation with a beauty sponge, I am using the Real Techniques dupe that I found recently and you can find more information about that on my Instagram if you are interested! I then went in with my concealer. You know I love my Essence Camouflage and my Urban Decay Naked Skin but I have been trying out the Maybelline Instant Eye Eraser in the shade Neutralizer. It is very yellow toned which I really enjoy as I am naturally more yellow toned and the foundation does run more beige so it balances it out nicely. I then set my entire face with my George Satin Loose Mineral Powder.

For my cheeks I always start by bronzing and contouring. For this I use my Revlon Sculpt & Highlight Kit. As you can see the bronzer and contour are very well loved and this is what I use on my  cheekbones, forehead and a dusting under my chin. I also use the bronzing shade to run through the crease of my eyes and run the excess over my lid. I then use the Essence Matt Touch Blush in the shade Berry Me Up. I use this blush as I am using a berry lip so it makes the look more uniform. I then go in with my ColourPop Lunch Money Super Shock Highlighter on my cheekbones and the cupids bow. I also applied this on the inner corner of my eyes.

It is no secret that the Maybelline Master Precise Micro Brow Pencil is my holy grail so that is what I use every single day of my life. I then finish off my eyes with the L’Oreal XFibre Mascara. I have been obsessed with the Lash Paradise mascara for so long, but mine is actually nearly out, so I have been playing with some of my other mascaras that kind of got pushed out since using the Lash Paradise. I forgot how much I love this one!

Finally to finish off the look I use the Barry M Matte Me Up Liquid Lipstick in Bittersweet. This actually came as part of a set with a nail polish, but I am absolutely obsessed with this colour. It is a dark vampy berry tone but it has a pink metallic shift to it which is so gorgeous but not at all unwearable. I have gotten a few compliments when I have been wearing this lip colour and that never happens! Ha!

I hope you enjoyed this look and until next time…
